When We Were Amazing

11/11/11 Christine London's Australian/International novel of the struggle toward love---of career, of family, of a woman...

When tragedy nearly destroys Bryan's family wine business, can this reluctant young heir forfeit his dreams and online love to save it?

Sometimes what a girl needs is a father figure in her life that is willing to speak his mind to any man that dares act the fool toward her...

This week’s SIX…

“Jesus, Bryan. If you’re such a myopic adolescent fool that you haven’t figured out the mother is worth twenty of the kids, you aren’t worthy of her time. Do you have any idea what she’s been through the last few years?”

Bryan lowered his eyes to the ground and sighed. “She lost her husband.”

“Not her husband, Marc scraped. "Her boyfriend…Cooper’s father. He never took the time to marry the woman because he thought there was all the time in the world to figure things out. Well let me tell you bucko, sometimes the fates don’t deal their hand the way you expect.”

   Half a world apart

   Years between them

   One untenable secret
